FLEXO PRINTING PRESS

The use of electron beam (EB) curing technology on a Flexo Printing Press represents the cutting edge of instant curing. EB units use a stream of electrons to instantly polymerize specially formulated inks and coatings without heat or photoinitiators. This process allows for curing of opaque, thick ink films or through dark substrates. The advantage is the ability to print on heat-sensitive or multi-layer laminated structures without causing delamination. It also produces prints with exceptionally low chemical migration, making it the preferred choice for sensitive food packaging and medical applications where ultimate safety and inertness are required.
