This technical guide introduces full standard operation procedures for modern servo flexo printing machines covering pre-start inspection, formal running operation, real-time parameter monitoring and safe shutdown steps, reducing human operation errors and machine damage risks.

Standardized flexo machine operation is divided into three complete stages: pre-start preparation inspection, formal production running operation and post-production safe shutdown. Irregular operation steps are the main cause of early machine aging, accidental mechanical collision and batch printing defects. All operators must follow unified operation specifications instead of empirical random operation habits.

The pre-start inspection process covers mechanical check, ink system check, electrical system check and tension system check. Operators need to confirm no foreign objects between printing cylinders, sufficient ink circulation volume, normal sensor signal feedback and flexible tension roller movement before powering on the whole machine. Any abnormal item must be solved before machine startup.

Formal running operation specifications include slow jog test running, sample printing debugging and formal high-speed production. Operators must run the machine at low jog speed for 3 minutes first to check abnormal mechanical noise and cylinder jitter. After confirming stable mechanical operation, start test printing and adjust register, tension and ink density parameters gradually before raising to rated production speed.

Real-time parameter monitoring requirements during continuous operation. Operators need to monitor web tension fluctuation, drying tunnel temperature, servo motor current and ink viscosity every 15 minutes. Once tension fluctuation exceeds threshold value or drying temperature drifts, make micro adjustment immediately instead of waiting for quality defects to appear.

Forbidden operation behaviors during machine running. Operators cannot open printing unit protective covers during high-speed operation, cannot manually touch rotating rollers, and cannot modify multi parameters in one step violently. Violent parameter modification will cause servo motor out-of-sync and sudden web breakage faults.

Safe shutdown operation steps for daily work end. Firstly reduce machine speed to low jog speed, then stop ink circulation system firstly, turn off drying heating system, finally cut off main power after complete machine static stop. Reverse shutdown sequence will lead to residual ink drying inside pipeline and heating component burnout.
