The complete flexo printing process is divided into four core links: prepress design and plate making, press preparation and parameter debugging, online formal printing production, and post-press finishing processing. Each link has independent technical standards, and any process operation error will be amplified in subsequent links to produce batch printing defects.

Prepress process includes pattern vector design, screen angle setting, digital photopolymer plate exposure, developing and plate inspection. Prepress determines original pattern accuracy, dot shape and pattern size. Unreasonable screen angle setting in prepress will produce moire patterns in subsequent multi-color overprinting, which cannot be repaired by machine parameter adjustment.

Press preparation process covers plate mounting, anilox roller selection, ink mixing and viscosity adjustment, initial pressure and tension calibration. This link is the key connecting prepress and formal printing. Standardized press preparation can reduce test printing waste material by more than 70% and shorten machine debugging time greatly.

Online formal printing process realizes multi-color synchronous overprinting, real-time register correction and online ink drying. The substrate passes through unwinding unit, multi-color printing units, drying tunnels and online inspection module continuously. Servo system synchronizes all running parameters to ensure stable and consistent printing effect during high-speed continuous operation.

Post-press finishing process includes slitting, die-cutting, laminating, rewinding and waste edge removal according to finished product requirements. For label and bag products, inline die-cutting and slitting are completed synchronously with printing; for carton products, offline creasing and cutting processing are adopted to match subsequent packaging forming.

Whole-process quality control key points: focus on dot parameter and pattern size in prepress, control pressure and tension stability in press preparation, monitor register and ink density in formal printing, and guarantee finished product size accuracy in post-press.
